Great Foundations is a program exclusively for first time home buyers who qualify (income). This program will match 5:1 the money you contribute towards down payment. That's right....if you have $1,000 for a down payment and closing costs, Great Foundations will GIVE you $5,000 for a total of $6,000. (Maximum match not to exceed $7,500)!!! The "small print" is that you must live in the home for at least 5 years to avoid having to repay the money.
